SyncDrive

SyncDrive

Every file you own, pulled into one orbit.

SyncDrive keeps a folder identical across every machine on a share. The clients find each other and send files straight to one another, encrypted end to end — this server only introduces them and keeps the index, so your content never has to sit in anybody's cloud.

Straight between machines

Clients punch through NAT and transfer over UDP directly, at a rate that adapts to the link. A relay only steps in when the punch fails.

Encrypted end to end

Every packet is AES-256-GCM, keyed from your share's own secret. The key itself is never put on the wire, and the server never sees your file contents.

Shares, scoped to a folder

One server, as many shares as you like. Grant someone a whole share, or a single subtree of it, and nothing outside that grant is even listed.

Reach it from a browser

Stream a file from whichever client is online — images, video, PDFs, Word documents, KeePass vaults — or send one the other way, with nothing staged in between.

Get the client

Install it on each machine, point it at a folder, and paste the API key for your share. Everything after that is automatic — including the client updating itself from this server.

Requires .NET 10 — get the runtime (an installed SDK already includes it). Windows and Linux, x64.

SyncDrive server 1.7.0. Administering shares, browsing files and managing clients all need an account.
